Hosting in the right place
For regulated professions, data location is negotiated in the contract, not afterwards. We host in the European Union by default, and can host in Switzerland where a client requires it.
Budget
From €290 per month for a site, more for a platform depending on volume and commitment level.
What the retainer actually covers
The contract is not insurance against everything: it covers keeping what was delivered in good order, security updates, monitoring, backups and an allowance for small changes. New development is quoted separately, because a retainer that claims to include everything ends up including nothing — and creating frustration on both sides.

The monthly report, and what it is for
Each month you receive a short document: uptime, response times, Core Web Vitals from real visitors, errors encountered, updates applied, and the month's recommendations ranked by expected effect.
The point is not the document, it is that it prompts a decision. Most sites degrade slowly, over months, with nobody looking at the numbers — until the day a rebuild becomes unavoidable.
Why a coded site is maintained differently
With no theme and no third-party plugins, there is no dependency chain to watch, no plugin update breaking another plugin, and a much smaller attack surface. Most of the maintenance work therefore goes into real performance and useful improvements, rather than repair.

Hosting on global infrastructure with an SSL certificate included. For regulated professions, data location is negotiated in the contract: European Union by default, Switzerland where a client requires it, under a processing agreement that names sub-processors.
And if you leave
The code and the data are yours. We provide handover documentation and support the transfer to another supplier if you decide on one. A managed-hosting contract should not be a way of holding on to you — if it is, the service does not stand up on its own.
